Kevin Sligh Sr.
Kevin is a senior executive with more than two decades of experience leading complex organizations across energy regulation, emergency management, and public policy, with a career focused on governance, risk assessment, and system-level accountability in high-risk operational environments.
He previously served as Director of the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement and in senior leadership roles with FEMA Region 5, overseeing regulatory oversight and large-scale disaster response operations. His federal service also includes policy leadership within the White House National Security Council, supporting national response strategy during major catastrophic events.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard, Kevin brings extensive experience in crisis leadership and stakeholder coordination. He served as Deputy Incident Commander during the Deepwater Horizon oil spill response, helping lead more than 40,000 responders in one of the largest environmental crises in U.S. history. He is Chief Executive Officer of Promethean Global Consulting Group and serves on the leadership team of the American Board of First Responder Behavioral Healthcare, where his experience informs FRBH’s work to strategically strengthen system-level standards that protect and support trauma-exposed public safety workforces.
