Regina Durso, LCSW

Regina Wiseman Durso, LCSW is an experienced behavioral health leader with more than thirty years of expertise advancing employee assistance, crisis response, and organizational behavioral health systems across high-risk and trauma-exposed environments. Her work has supported federal agencies, military populations, law enforcement, and large organizational systems, with a consistent focus on workforce protection, quality oversight, and institutional accountability.

Ms. Durso brings deep experience in behavioral health system oversight, threat assessment, professional education, and coordinated critical incident response. She has contributed to structured behavioral health responses during nationally significant events, including the Oklahoma City Bombing, the September 11 attacks, and major natural disasters, supporting first responders and affected personnel through organized response frameworks and post-incident recovery systems.

She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work with a specialization in Employee Assistance Programs and is certified in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing. In addition to her applied leadership experience, Ms. Durso serves as a faculty member and Practicum Education Liaison, supporting professional development and reinforcing standards-driven practice within behavioral health systems.

Ms. Durso is also the founder of Durso Consultants, LLC, where she provides education, training, and advisory services focused on workforce behavioral health and crisis preparedness. Through her role with the American Board of First Responder Behavioral Healthcare, she contributes seasoned expertise to the advancement of nationally consistent standards and accreditation frameworks designed to strengthen organizational accountability and protect trauma-exposed public safety workforces.
