IN THIS LESSON
Operational Stress, Resilience, and Performance Psychology
This course bridges clinical knowledge with performance psychology, focusing on how responders can maintain optimal functioning under chronic stress. Practitioners learn the science of operational stress—its physical, emotional, and cognitive manifestations—and the skills responders use to perform effectively despite adversity. Topics include resilience conditioning, tactical breathing, mental rehearsal, and recovery strategies used in high-stakes environments. Practitioners gain insight into how resilience and stress tolerance are cultivated within responder culture and how to reinforce those strengths clinically.
